- Is there any charge to take classes at LVP?
No, we are tuition free. However, there may be fees for dual enrollment and/or AP courses.
- Who can take courses with LVP?
Any students in grades K-12 residing in the counties of Oakland, Genesee, Lapeer, Macomb, St. Clair, Sanilac or Tuscola are eligible to enroll tuition-free.
- What programs can students enroll in at LVP?
You can enroll as a virtual student and participate in non-essential courses.
- Can my student play sports with Lapeer Community Schools?
Yes, in accordance with current MHSAA guidelines for athletic participation.
- Are there Optional Learning Experiences (OLE) available?
Yes. Virtual students can meet once per week on Wednesday for the OLE. This is an option, not a requirement, for the course.
- What if my student can’t attend classes at the building?
Your student doesn’t have to take part in the OLE, but we expect your student to come in once a week to meet with their online virtual mentor (certificated teacher) at LVP.
